Senior Management Consultant, Strategy & Analytics

Description

During my time at IBM, I managed teams of 6-15 IBM employees and subcontractors while also overseeing project financials and all other aspects of project management for IBM clients. I led projects with a total annual revenue fluctuating between $3-7 million USD.

Related to business development, I managed the business development pipeline for the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Joint Policy and Expeditionary Services (OSDJ) subaccount which had an annual pipeline of over $50 Million. I wrote, helped write, or led the technical writing for 50 different proposals and white papers for opportunities valued at over $300 million. I also facilitated IBM’s first executive trip to Afghanistan and launched a project to set up an IT incubator in Afghanistan

2012-2015

Led a team of consultants that developed the first interagency
business intelligence and analytics capability for the US government procurement activities in Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Pacific, and Europe for a visibility into over 65 Billion USD worth of contract actions from 2008 to 2015 YTD in support of the DoD’s Combatant Commands.

Project Manager

Budget Study, Office of the Secretary of Defense
2014-2015

Led a team of IBM consultants in a conducting a deep dive analysis of the Office of the Secretary Defense (OSD) budget structure for the over $4 billion dollars spent annually. Additionally, developed a performance management framework to enable OSD to manage their program budget going forward using analytical tools like Tableau.

2013-2014

Led a team of IBMers in a process re-engineering effort streamline the budget and acquisition processes of the US military’s Southern Command for their 1.2-1.8 billion USD annual spend. This culminated in the deployment of a contract requirements portal built with MS SharePoint, MS InfoPath, and MS Access.

Managed 4 work streams of delivery: the development of tools to support the Acquisition Accountability Office of Afghanistan (AAoA), support for USAFRICOM‘s implementation of the Adaptive Logistics Network (ALN) strategy in Africa, lessons learned database implementation, and strategic communications support.

Helped lead a team that executed an international logistics workshop on disaster relief and developed a strategic plan for interagency logistics called the Adaptive Logistics Network (ALN). Participants from USAID, Department of State, NGOs, United Nations, and the Department of Defense were involved.

As a logistics specialist, you were responsible for coordinating in-country logistics in Afghanistan for the Task Force for Business and Stability Operations (TFBSO). Additionally, you served as the Executive Assistant to both the Director and Deputy Director of TFBSO, which likely involved managing their schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and handling administrative tasks. Overall, your role was instrumental in supporting TFBSO's mission to promote economic development and stability in conflict zones.
